AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB.
The monthly Red Cross medal handicap was played at Middlemore, and resulted in a tie between Miss K. Holmes, 101—18—83, and Miss P. Macfarlane. 105-22—8.1. Other good cards returned were those of Mrs. L. Dargaville, 96-12-84, and Miss M. Payton, 101-11-84. In the last monthly medal a card returned in the junior division, thai, of Miss M. MacCormick, 115—25—90, was overlooked. This made her the winner, instead of Miss E. Culling, whose card read 120—25—95. The entries for the final round of the eclectic match, captain's prize, will close to-day at the clubhouse. The match will be played on Tuesday. MAFNCAKIEKTE LADIES' CLUB. The best cards returned in the match in aid of.the Red Cross War Fund, played at Maungakiekie on Wednesday, are 4s follows Mrs. Owon. 101—25— Miss Gorrie, 87—7—80: Miss Burgess; 105—22—83: Miss Stacpoole, 118-35—88: Misa A. Fouhy, 123-30-87: Miss Scott, 105-17-88; Mrs. Morris. 113-25-88; Mrs. Ball, 117-29—88; Mrs. Saxton. 122—34-88. As a result of the match the sum of £1 lfis will he forwarded to the Secretary of the L.G.U. at Palmerston North.
The eclectic match was won by Miss Stacpoole, 104—69,' and Miss Moginie was second, 94—22—72.
