The schooner Isabella Defraine is being overhauled preparatory to entering the cement trade between Mahurangi and Auckland, during the time the steamer Mahuranei will be laid up for overhaul. The Norwegian barque Sator, 1133 tons, loft Lytteltor. yesterday morning for Kaipara, where she loads a cargo of timber for Sydney.

The Huddart-Parkcr steamer Victoria left Dunedin yesterday afternoon for East Coast porta and Auckland. In consequence of the holiday to-morrow, she will not leave Wei lington until Friday evening, one day late. The vessel will work Napier and Gisborne on Saturday, and is expected to arrive- hero on Sunday evening.

The schooner Greyhound is due this morning from Kopu, and is to sail to-night for UokiangaThe schooner Paroto is expected early this morning from Tauranga. and is to sail lato to-night for Whakalane, with cargo only. Messrs. Russell and Somers advi3o that the Anchor Line's steamer Reguhis is now timed to leave Greymouth to-day for Onohunca. where she is due on Friday. The vessel will discharge about 500 tons of coal, and will sail on Saturday for Nelson and West Coast ports with general cargo.

As the New Zealand Shinning Company's liner Ruapehu was delayed in her loading operations at Waitara by bad weather at tha end of last week, she was not ejpected to return to Wellington until yesterday. The vessel departure for London haß been post, poned until to-morrow. THE TALUNE. A wireless message received by the Union Company from the captain of the steamer Talune states that the vessel will arrive at Auckland about 11 in. to-day from the Cook »nd Society Islands.
