TRAMWAY MEN'S STRIKE.
MEN FOR THE ARMY.
London, May 30.
The County Council has undertaken to expedite a settlement of the tramway men's grievances. The Council refused to allow men of military age :o resume work when the; strike collapsed. Two thousand men '•■ found employment elsewhere. A' few enlisted in the army. Twelve hundred enrolled as motor transport | drivers and others are engaged at the I Woolwich Enfield Armament Works.,
