BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.

There were not many transactions on tho j sharemarket yesterday, New Zealand Insurances were looked for at £6 Is, but there were no sellers. South British Insurances were available at 955, and buyers were prepared to give 93s 6d. Auckland Gas changed hands at 29s 6d. In mining linen, Wniliis showed a slight improvement on prices ruling of late. [Business was effected .it the second call at 39s 3d and 39s 6d, and at the third call at 40s. Talismans sold at 245, sellers closing at 24s 6d. Waihi Grand Junctions l were in demand at 23s 9d, and tellers asked 24s 3d. AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE.
