The Riinu which was weather-bound at Hokianga on Saturday and Sunday, was expected to arrive at Onehunga late last night. The Kaiapoi went to the powder anchorage yesterday afternoon, and after taking on board a quantity of explosives, sailed for Newcastle to load for New Zealand. The Norwegian steamer Odland left Newcastle at ,1 p.m. on Thursday last for Auckland, with a cargo of coal. She is expected to arrive here on Thursday morning. Captain C. Forder. formerly of the Federal-Shire steamer Nairnshire, arrived at Adelaide some days ago in command of the ex-German-Austraiian liner Hnmni. The Westralia, which is taking the Ulimaroa's place for a trip, is expected to arrive at Wellington at daybreak this morning from Sydney The vessel is bringing 94 passengers and about 500 tons of cargo for New Zealand She will leave Wellington on Friday evening for Sydney and Hobart. TALUNE DUE TO-MORROW. A wireless message received by the Union Company from the captain of tho steamer Taluno states that the vessel will arrive at Auckland to-morrow morning from the Cook and Society Islands. The vessel, which is returning earlier than was expected, is bringin; the usual shipment of fruit for New Zealand. THE INDRABAPAH. Messr?. Heather, Roberton, Ltd., local agents for the Commonwealth and Dominion line, advise, that the steamer Indrabarah, which is due at Auckland about Juno 17 from London and Australian ports, has 4200 tons of general merchandise for discharge at this port, RMS. MAKURA FROM VANCOUVER. At 2 a.m. yesterday the Union Company 'it RMS. Makura arrived in tho stream a'; Auckland from Vancouver, via Honolulu anil Suva, and after 7 a.m. was berthed at tho Queen's Wharf to land mails and passengers and discharge 930 tons of Canadian merchandise. The Makura left Vancouver at noon on May 13. and had an uneventful voyage throughout- She sailed last evening for Sydney, where she is due on Friday. COMING FROM NEW YORK. The Commonwealth and Dominion steamer Whakarua has been fixed to load general cargo at New York for Auckland, Wellington, and Sydney. She is to sail this month. via the Panama Canal. No advice has yet been received by the local agents for the United States and Australasian Line concerning departure of the steamer Canastota.

HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS. The Northern Company announces that in consequence of the holiday on Thursday (King's Birthday), several alterations havo been made in the running of several steamers. The Rarawa will arrive Lack it One hunja to-morrow morning from New Plymouth, and will sail again on the return trip at 3 p.m.. instead of the Thursday. She will remain at New Plymouth until Friday evening, and will return to Oneluvnga as. usual on Saturday morning. . The Ngapubi will return from Tauranga to-morrow morning and' will sail again for that port at 6.30 p.m., instead of Thursday. She will leave Tauranga again at 6.30 p.m. on Friday, and arrive back here on Saturday morning as usual.
