HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE,
"Who's the Lady?" again attracted a large audience, to His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday evening. The last six nights of the company's reason are announced, On .Wednesday " Tho Chaperon," the production of which ' wao postponed during the company's • last season, will to presented. -" The Chaperon" will only be played for three nights, and "The Glad Eye" will 'be revived on Saturday, June 5, the company's farewell night. ; OPERA HOUSE. - ' Large houses witnessed both the matinee and evening performances at the Opera House j: last Saturday. For the now •bill," which • commences . to-night, ;the Fuller management will present several new attractions of • uriitfu&l merit. A first appecifance in New Zealand will he made by Dormer ■- and '■ Lloyd, . speciality artists. Vaude and Verne, clever Australian patter comedians, will make ' a reappearance. Dan Thomas,- the English pantomime dame; will appear in an entirely new repertoire .of ' his English music hall suecesses. Entirely new acts and items will be supplied by Courtney and Shaw, the Three Ruddles, George ' Campbell, Tom .Dawson, Edwards and' Parke?, and Carl Merlvn. All these artists are entering upon the last week of their Auckland season.' A holiday matinee "v-U be given on the King's Birthday. The mid-week and Saturday matinees will be given as usual. . : - . THE DANDIES. • The Dandies/ will present a complete change of programme to-night. Their programmes hitherto have resulted in the concert'; chamber of the Town Hall being filled every evening, and tlie_ coming programme is said to be equal in every respect to previous ones. , PICTURE ■ . ENTERTAINMENTS.. Included- in to-dav's programme at the Globe Theatre will*be tha last but one of the series entitled "The - Adventures of Kathlyn." A Keystone comedy, "A J Bird is a Bird," will also be screened, j Patrons of the King's Theatre this even-! ing will find a programme of well-sus-; tained merit. . . • ' The new > series of continuous pictures to be so'2encd at the King George Theatre to-day includes several powerful dramatic subjects and other popular films. At the Queen's Theatre to-day will be screened " The Return," a powerful twoact drama'. The supporting programme is said 'to be of great excellence. This week's programme at the Grand ■Theatre gives every_ promise of being as popular as the previous ones, containing, as it does, pictures of all kinds. The feature of to-day's programme at •the Princess Theatre will be another instalment of the" serial, "The Trey o Hearts,". . T • This week's programme at the Lyric and West End Theatres giv: every indication of being exceedingly _ popular. Mary - Pickford in '.'Caprice will ba the feature-of to-day's programme at the Palace Theatre, Newton. ' The programme advertised to _be screened at the Grafton theatre to-night is a good one, ijnd shouid prove popular.
