THE KING'S BIRTHDAY. The-.King's Birthday, Thursday, June 3, being a- post - office holiday, the following conditions will bo observed at the General Post Office on that day:Tho offlco -will be closed in all branches. All mails usually despatched on Thursday will close at 7.15 a.m. Loom letters for Southern offices may be posted on the Wellington express trains up to 12 40 p-m. and 850 p.m. There will be no delivery by letter-carriers, but a delivery of letters, including registered* will be made over the counter on.
