CANADIAN SHIP SUNK.
TORPEDOED AND SHELLED,

The Canadian steamer Morwenna, of 1414 tons, bound from Montreal to Cardiff, was torpedoed and shelled 160 miles off St, Ann's Head, Wales."
The crew have landed. It is reported that one man was killed and three wounded.
NEUTRAL SHIPS ATTACKED.
DANISH AND SWEDISH.
London* May 27. The Danish steamer Betty was torpedoed and sunk in the North Sea. The crew landed at Shields.
A German submarine stopped a Danish schooner and a Swedish schooner in the North Sea, and allowed the Danish craft to proceed, but burnt the Swedish schooner. The latter's captain asked why the Danish boat had not been destroyed. The commander of the submarine stated that he was not instructed to touch Danish ships.
PLUCKY BELGIAN TRAWLER.
ATTEMPT TO RAM SUBMARINE
(Received May 28. 1165 p.m.) London, May 27.
The Jacqueline, a Belgian steam trawler, observing a German submarine attack the Norwegian ship Minerva, attempted to ram the enemy. The second shot from the submarine sank''the Minerva within a few minutes. The Jacqueline picked up the crew and again attempted,, to ram the submarine. After firing fifty shots at the Jacqueline disappeared.
