WAIHI-PAEROA. i £3200 FROM 13,400 TONS. TOTAL TO DATE, £134,761. ' % ' For the four-weekly period ended May 22 the Waihi-Paei'oa Gold Extraction Company, Ltd., treated 13,400 tons of tailings for a return of £3200. The company lias now won £134,761 from tho treatment of 433,600 tons of tailings as shown below :— Value. Period. The manager of the Four-in-Hcnd mine, Coromandel, reports that in the centre of the winze a vug was broken into last week, and out of this 101b of picked atone were obtained. A little water was making: from the south end.
