THE GOVERNOR.
RETURN FROM ROTORUA.
His Excellency the Governor and the Countess of Liverpool returned yesterday from Rotorua, where they have been spending a brief holiday. In the evening His Excellency attended the farewell dinner to the City Council staff, given at the Star Hotel by Mr. C. J. Pa-r, C.M.G., the retiring Mayor.
This afternoon Their Excellencies will attend an "At Home" at Bishopscouri, and in the evening they will be present at the performance of "Charley's Aunt," at His Majesty's Theatre.
