BRITISH IN GALLIPOLI AND FRENCH ON ASIATIC SIDE.
TWELVE HOURS' BOMBARDMENT OF KILID BAHR.
London, April 29.
The British landing force is operating on the European side of the Dardanelles and the French on the Asiatic side.
The Dardanelles forts were bombarded on Tuesday for twelve hours, the fire being directed mainly against the Kilid Bahr forts on the European side of the Dardanelles, close to the Narrows.
