AUCKLAND TROOPER'S DEATH.
RESULT OF MEASLES. [BY TELEGRAM.— ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. The Defence authorities have been advised of the death of Trooper Charles Samuel Chamberlain, of the 3rd, Auckland, Squadron, Auckland Mounted Rifles, Main Expeditionary Force. Deceased died on Wednesday last, as the result of an attack of measles. His next-of-kin is his father, Mr. Charles Chamberlain, of Ponui Island, Auckland. Deceased was 26 years of age.
