PETITION TO BE DROPPED. DR. McXAB RETAINS SEAT. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PKtSS ASSOCIATION.] Hastings, Friday. /In faro of the decision of the Full Court, iMr. H. M. Campbell has decided to proceed no further with his petition against tho return of Dr. R. McNab as member for Hawkc's Bay.
CASE BEFORE ELECTION COURT. ADJOURNMENT TILL MONDAY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—IBESS ASSOCIATION.! Wellington, Friday. The petition lodged by Mr. H. M. Ompbell against the return of Dr. R. Mfc Nab for the Hawke's Bay seat was mentioned to-day before the Election Court. Mr. Skerrett asked that the case bo adjourned until Monday morning next, at Wellington. Tho Court granted the request.
