The Akarana Club also won the champion teams match with a total of 3/5 points, the Auckland City team takinsc second place with 355 points, and Waihi and Cambridge, with 31 each, third. Power, complimented ths local officials on the complete arrangements Made. Major Kenrick then handed the trophies to the successful competitors. . In the evening the annual general meeting of the association was held, the principal business being the election of officers. Captain Hubbard, Paeroa, was re-elected president. The management council elected was as follow^: —Captains Merrilees and Andrews, Presidents Comes, Jenkins J. V' Allen. Lieutenants Littlejohn, T. Clarke, J. Hubbard. Riflemen W. Maingay, E. The election of vice-presidents was left in the hands of the committee. It was resolved that ths annual meeting be again held at Waihi next Easter.
