The Servian Legation states that. Bulgarian regulars, in great numbers, attired in military uniforms and acting under ofticeis, yesterday attacked the blockhouse at V alamlovo, and occupied all the heights on the left bank of the Yardar. Fighting continues. The number of dead and wounded is considerable. Iwo Servian guns have been taken. Struninit/.a and Valandovo are adjacent towns on the Seibo Bulgarian frontier,, and are only a few miles distant from the Greek frontier. They arc situated in former Turkish territory conquered in the first Balkan war. Bulgaria's claim to the greater part of this region was contested by l.reece and Bulgaria, and the issue was ultimately decided by an appeal to arms, which resulted in Bulgaria's defeat in the second Balkan war. Conflicts between Bulgarian, Servian, and Greek bands in this re-ion have been reported from time to time, the incidents generally arising out of disputes as to the demarcation of the new frontiers.
