WATCHMAN
The superintendent of the Watchman mine, Thames, reports that in tho East Parallel reef, last week, the ore was of payable quality. Driving north on the Windfall reef was in progress, and tho total distance driven was 19ft, making the total distance from the crosscut 170 ft. ROYAL OAK. [liV TELEGRAPH.—OWN' CORRESPONDENT.] Coromandel, Sunday. The Royal Oak mine, Tokatea, has been purchased by Sir. August Luhro, who has been connected with the property for the past 30 years. The new owner has, on several occasions, taken tributes in the mine. DREDGING RETURNS. [by telegraph.—press association.] • Dttxedtn, Saturday. The following dredging returns are reported for the week : —Rise and Shine 1., 320z lldwt; Golden Bed, 250z 6dwtj Rise and Shine 11., 17oz 15dwt.
