The selection of a "ticket" in connection with the forthcoming Borough Council election at Takapuna was the object of a meeting held at Takapuna on Thursday evening under the auspices of the Takapuna Citizens' League. Mr, \V. Duncan presided, and there was a small attendance. Twenty persons were nominated and it was decided to hiake a selection from these at a meeting to be held next Tuesday.
