VITRIOL SPRAYERS.
A FIENDISH INVENTION. Descriptions have been published in Petrograd of vitriol sprayers with which the Germans are providing the Austrian troops. The vitriol, it is stated," is earried onthe backs of soldiers inicylinders, under "a pressure of '35 atmospheres.' When turned on a jet of vitriol is thrown to a distance of thirty spaces, and each cylinder contains sufficient liquid to keep up a continuous Btreani for one minute.
