His Excellency the Governor, the Earl of Liverpool, and the Countess of Liverpool, who are now in residence at Government House on a visit to Auckland, will attend the Auckland Racing Hub's race-meetings at Klleislie today and on Monday next. Included in the viceregal party on those or.asions will be the Misses Rhodes and Rich. Mr. 11. Helmorc, Mr. Gavin Hamill.ii. private secretary, and Messrs. N. Rattray and A. Gould, aides-de-camp. Tomorrow morning Their Excellencies will attend divine service at St. Marv's Cathedral. Parnell. " '
The Governor and the Countess of Liverpool will on Tuesday, April 6,attend the finals of the New Zealand University tennis tournament, to be played at the Rcniuora lawns. His Excellency will on April 11 lay the foundation-stone ot the new chanoel at St. Paul's Church, Symonds Street.
During the stay in Auckland of Their Excellencies Lieut.-Colonel Rosea wen is acting as lion, aide-de-camp to tho Governor. The Mayor, Mr. C. ,T. Parr, CM.O., formally visited Their Excellencies on Thursday morning.
