The annual Easter camp of the Presbyjterian Young Men's Bible Class Union ! commenced at Mctutapu on Thursday even- | ing when the majority of tho Auckland members and a number of visiting delegates went under canvas. Additional members arrived yesterday and altogether there are 350 present out of a total roll number of 405. Representatives are attending tho camp from all over the Dominion.

| The site selected for tho encampment is ' Homo Bay and tho tents, about 50 in i number, occupy the flat at the head of tho bay, a few yards from the beach. Tho locality is an ideal one and despite tho heavy rain yesterday the touts remained comparatively dry. The annual conference was officially opened by the Mayor of Auckland yesterday afternoon. .Mr. Parr said it gave him great pleasure to welcome members of tho Bible Class Union. He was sure that it would do tho young men a great deal of good to get away from the bustle of city life and spend a few days at this delightful spot. The union had set itself to tight the evils that assailed the country and they were doing good work for tho Dominion. The Rev. H. W. Johnston, moderator of the presbytery, convoyed to the delegates a hearty welcome from the presbytery. Mr. J. L. Hay, president of the union, addressed the meeting at some length.
