SUDDEN CHANGE IN THE WAIKATO.
DOWNPOUR AT HAMILTON. [by telegraph.— correspondent.] Hamilton, Friday. After a beautiful day yesterday a change in the weather took place in the night and this morning for about four hours there was almost a torrential downpour with intermittent showers following. The rainfall for the last month was 7.81 inches falling on 19 days. The heaviest fall was 3.26 inches on March 22.
