THE LEAGUE GAME. MEETING OP GRAFTON CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Grafton Athletic Football Club was held last evening, Mr. J- Endean presiding over an attendance of 45 members. The annual report referred to the. fact that 30 per cent, of the members of the club had joined the expeditionary force. In the past season teams were entered in all grades. The year had been a successful one financially, the balancesheet showing an excess of assets over liabilities of £18 16s 4d. The report was adonted. , . , Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—President, Mr. J. Endean: delegate to Auckland Rugby League. Mr. J. Endp»n; committee. Messrs. P W. Roone. C. Chapman. D. Law, A. Haddon, J. McDonald. R. Mitchell. B. Rutlcdgoj secretary and treasurer, Mr. L. Bull; Selection Committee. Messrs. R. Mitchell. H. Rowe, and A. Haddon: club captoin, R. Mitchell. A gold medal for the best back in the junior grade was presented to G. Hes, and a similar medal for the best forward in the same grade was handed to B Rutledge. The first practice will be held next Saturday, at place to be notified.-
