Whereas it has come to the knowledge of the Defcnco Department that certain persons have been wrongfully - a dealing in Arms, Accoutrements, Ammunition, .and Military Clothing, the property of the_ New Zealand Government, it is hereby notified' that any person who wrongfully sells, pawns, or buys any.such property, or has the same in his possession without satisfactorily accounting for the fact, will be prosecuted as' the law directs. 1 No person should bo in possession of Arms. Accoutrements, Ammunition, or Military Clothing, the property ot .the New Zealand Government, excepting bona-fido members of the New Zealand Military Forces, or members of Defence Rifle Clubs who have purchased such Arms. Accoutrements, Ammunition, or Military Clothing. Where any such'property comes into tho possession or keeping of any person not entitled to be > in possession thereof, such person should immediately notify the fact to the nearest Area Serireant-Major, Defence Office, or Police Station. . .
