ACCIDENT TO MOTOR-CAR.
STRIKES ROADSIDE FENCE. ONE PASSENGER INJURED. [BT TELEGRAPH —OWN ronSE-SPOVTEST.] Mattet, Tuesday. An- accident occurred to one of the motorcars now plying regularly between Wainkn and Pukekobe. It appears that at the torn known as Steenson's corner, on tho Mauku to Pukekohe Road, the car left the road and crashed into the fence oppo- ' site. The impact was so severe as to knock a large straining port out of too | ground tnd smash the fence. A rail i" the fence came throuzh the glass wind- . screen and just missed a lady passenger. The car ; was badly damaged and bad to be sent to Auckland fo.- repairs. Mr Len. BarnKail was only a short distance ahead with bis car and he immediately returned and picked up the pass Tigers and look Miss Greenhead to Dr. W-ike, <f Pukekohe, where she reor:w>d everv attention and is . progressing satisfactorily.
