MAX FOUND NOT GUILTY

Martin Gorstad was arraigned on » charge of assault and causing grievous bodly harm to Sven Erick Kisenius, a Swede, on December 18. It was stated in evidence that Risenius went to a house with a woman, and a man attacked him. As a result. Risenius received a severe injury to one «-ye. and at the hospital it had to bo taken cut. Risenius said he drew a knife when attacked. Gorstad said the woman was his wife. Mr. J. R. Lundon appeared for the prisoner. After half an hour's retirement, the juryreturned a verdict of not guilty, and the prisoner was discharged. The Court adjourned until 10 a.m. today. PRISONER'S NON-APPEARANCE. SEARCH TO BK MADE. Patrick Gunn, charged with theft from a dwelling and arson. Rawene, who is on bail, did cot answer to bis name when called yesterday. One of the sureties appeared later in the day and said that Gunn had been seeD at the Court during the morning. His Honor said he would not estreat the bail that day. but advised the surety to try and find the prisoner. DIVORCE PETITION .
