TURKS CONCENTRATING.
A CONVENT OCCUPIED.
ill-treatment of jews.

Caibo, January 21. Refugees from Palestine report a steady concentration of Turkish troops in the Beer Sheba region, 40 miles from the frontier and 150 miles from the Suez Canal. They state that many German officers are much less confident of success than the Turks.
Many cases of ill-treatment of Zionist Jews are reported. The Turks have occupied the Mount Carmel convent.
