Japanese, and French. Merinos touched 14d ; crossbreds, 13id—records for the season. Oats : Tasmanian, 4s 2d to 4b 6d ; New Zealand, 4s 4d to 4s 2d. Bailey : Cape, 4s; English, 4s 3d. Maize, 5s to 5s Id]. Potatoes : Tasmanians, £3 6s to £5 10s. Onions : Victorian, £11. Butter has advanced 4s. Selected, 120s; seconds, 112s to 116s. Cheese, 6£d to 7d. Bacon, 9d to lOd. Adelaide wheat sellers ask 7s 3d for large lots, buyers offering 7s. Flour, £15" 10s; bran, 2s ; pollard, 2s 4d ; oats, Algerian, 4s 3d. Melbourne hides : Small supplies and keen competition. Prices id dearer.
