Count Berehtold, late AustroHungarian Minister for Foreign Affairs, was always anti-Servian in his sympathies. He resigned after a stormy interview with the Emperor, who reproached him for withholding the consequences of the ultimatum sent to Servia and for declaring that Russia would not intervene.
