NOTES AND COMMENTS. . The Auckland _, Amateur Athletic-Club has included a 130 yd*, and 680 yds handicap for members oi the Public Service in the pro gramme tor the meeting which will be held at Alexandra Park on February 6 The Auckland Centre of the N.Z A A will meet this evening for the purpose of decid ins whether the New Zealand championships will be held in Auckland this season The Zealand Council is of the opinion that he annual championship meeting should be held. If Auckland is unable to carry out the meeting Canterbury is desirous of proceeding with the carnival arrangements.
