TWO YOUTHS FINED.
YOUNG MAN SENT TO GAOL.

Whaxgarei, Tuesday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr. E. Page, S.M., Edwin ' Douglas Hunter and Reginald Haliiday, aged 16 and 17 years respectively, were fined £10 each and costs, for stealing £8 in money and watches of the value of £2 5s from the dwellinghouse of Herbert Arthur Going, at Onerahi, on January 2.
Hunter was also charged with being concerned in a charge with John Munro Wrack (aged 25), of stealing an electrical apparatus from a launch of the value of £17 18s 6d. Hunter was fined £10 and costs, and Wrack was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, a previous conviction for indecent assault having been recorded against him.
