GERMAN COPPER HUNGER.
CHURCH ORNAMENT TAKEN.
ELECTRIC CABLES REMOVED.
Rotterdam, January 15.
The Germans have removed the famous copper group, " Day of the Cross." from the church of the Sacred Heart at Turnhout and are also removing the electric light cables in some of the German cities to obtain copper. Acetylene for lighting is to be substituted.
