FURTHER EFFORT IN TIMARU.

The General Committee of the British and Belgian Fund met cn Saturday and determined to make a further effort to raise money to assist distressed Belgians. So far £6500 has been sent forward by tins committee, and there is some £800 in hand. Fresh subscriptions were started in the room, and, headed by £35 from the Atlas Mill Company. £208 was reached in a few minutes.
