AUSTRALASIA'S CHEQUE.
London, November 16.
During the past three weeks 10,000 tons of foodstuffs were delivered in Belgium for the starving people. Over 6000 tons are being delivered, 42,000 tons are being loaded in various ports throughout the world, and 50,000 tons are being collected for shipment.
The Hon. T. A Coghlan, AgentGeneral for New South Wales, has handed the Belgian Minister a further £20,000 for the Belgian Relief Fund. This sum includes contributions from New South Wales, Queensland, Christchurch and Auckland.
The Minister has asked that his most grateful thanks be conveyed to all the kind contributors for their magnificent gift.
