_ The auxiliary schooner Waiapu, which was recently purchased by a Napier syndicate, sailed for the Hawke's Bay port on Saturday afternoon. It is understood that the Waiapu will be employed in lightering work at Napier. The Northern Company advises that the coastal steamer Wcka will sail at 3 p.m. today for Whaltatano, instead of to HerePcehi, as was previously announced. The Tarawcia is limed' to leave Wellington a*; 6 pm. to-day for Napier, Gißbornc, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland She- is duo here on Thursday morning.
