OPIUM SMOKER PUNISHED. [BY TELEGRArH.-rBESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Thursday. After having successfully avoided detection for nearly two years, Ah Chung appeared in the' Police Court this morning. on a charge that in December, 1912, he had in his possession opium in a form which might be made suitable for smoking. H* was arrested at that time, and appeared in Court, but the case was adjourned, and accused disappeared. He was again arrested at Wellington three davs s»'>. Accused was fined £2.
