Th" owning tournament in connection with the Goldrteh's Stars was held on the K3inrgnhMtP srroen on Monday. Section A v.v.3 won by the Waihi Club, and Section B by I'aerflti. The final between these two clubs resulted in I'seroa. winning by 21 points to 11. DARGAVILLE CLUB. There was a large attendance at the Dargnville bowling green on Monday, the opening day of the season. Mr. F. M. Jerria, president of the club, welcomed the visitors, and the first jack was thrown by Mrs. Jewis. The Rankin and Hayes trophies were presented to Messrs. Mathcson and Barrington. The matches played were between teams chosen by the president and vice-president. Six rinks were engaged, each side scorir." 93 points. CARLTON CLUB. Tha Carlton Bowling' Club will opsn its green to-morrow afternoon.
