FIRE IN A CAMP.
A (AMI', occupied by some of the men engaged on the work in connection with the new dam at Nihotunn was nearly destroyed by fire at noon on Wednesday, Two of the tents were actually lost but all the others were removed in time. The occupants lost most of their belongings. Fortunately very little damage «as dune . to the bush. In view of the outbreak the City Council authorities urge that visitors to the Nihotupu reserve should exercise the utmost care.
