The Veedee Specialists make no claim to be able to cure complaints that have been coming on for years, in a. single treatment. Nevertheless, this sometimes happens, as Mr. McLean's letter shows : 80, Russell Street, Dunedin, May 14, 1914. Dear Sirs.— A week ago I was treated on the platform at the Burns Hall by the Veedee Specialists, my trouble being deafness in my left ear. I had been extremely deaf for five years, and could not even hear my match ticking when placed close up to the ear. After a few minutes' treatment with the Veedee, however. 1 could hear my watch quite plainly, and whereas I used always havo my wife walk on one side of me so that I could hear her, it does not matter now, as I can hear equally well with either ear. I thought possibly the vast improvement might last ouly a few minutes or hours, but fortunately it appears quite permanent. (Signed) W. McLean. The following letter is of particular interest. Not only is it from an Auckland business man. but, morever, it clearly shows how Veedeo owners treasure their machines : Great- North Road, Auckland, October 13, 1914. Dear Sirs,— l bought a Veedee in Auckland ten years ago from a local chemist, who was selling them then. 1 used it j for constipation, and found that it gave j me most satisfactory results. I have always kept my machine by me since then, and hardly a day passes but what I use it for some purpose or other. 1 honestly ' , think that it is oue of my most valued ! possessions. 1 have also used the machine on one or two of my friends for rheuma- i tism with just as good results as in my j own case. Whenever 1 feel a pain, tho .Veedee is immediately put to work, and in two or three applications the pain has j gone. " ] Yous faithfully. (Signed) .\la(ituew Martin. Now, Mr. Martin's letter is, perhaps, . as good an example as could bo found on the general usefulness of the Veedee, for not only was the owner able to cure himself by its use, but he was also able to greatly help several of his friends. All sufferers should certainly come to the Veedee Institute, where they will be I , given " j FREE TREATMENT ' and advice. They will be told straight- < forwardly whether or not their ease is likely to yield to the Veedee. They will have a Free Treatment given them, and the machine and its uses in every detail i will be explained. In incurable cases, ! where tho Veedee cannot even bring relief, the sufferers will be plainly told of the fact, and, moreover, the' Veedee Specialists will j REFUSE TO SELL A VEEDEE to such a sufferer. This attitude is taken by the Veedee Specialists because, they will not bring the Veedee into disrepute. No one must have a Veedee and he able to say after a. week's use that it has not brought them ease from their pains or loosened their stiff joints and muscles, or improved their hearing or eyesight! or been of any benefit to them. * Every Veedee owner talks of bis or her machine as the one thing they regard more highly than anything else, and the Veedee Specialists will not have a dissatisfied user if they can help it. 'They want all to bo ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT THE VEEDEE, and they can only achieve this object by dealing plainly with everybody who (tunes to them for treatment. Every sufferer from such complaints as Rheumatism. Gout, Deafness, Paralysis, Loco- ' motor Ataxia, as well as the following: — Dyspepsia, Stiff Joints, indigestion, Insomnia, Neuralgia. Kidney Diseases, Sci- j atiea. Lung Troubles, Colic and other Bowel Troubles. Piles. Constipation, Contracted Limbs. Joints and Muscles, etc., Asthma, Throat Troubles, and Swollen (Hands— should come to tho Veedee Institute. Like every' other good thing, however, . the Veedee has a host of imitators, mostly valueless as curative agents. These imitators are trading on the honestly established reputation of the genuine Veedee, hut in no case, have tin v ever door, better than try to follow where the Veedee has always led : in short, it may be said trrat the Voedee is IMITATED IN EVERYTHINa KXCEP"; ITS POWER TO CURE. 1 No matter how alluring may be the claims made on behalf of theso would-be ' Vibrators, Pulsators. or Blood Cirrulat--1 ors, do not be induced to part wit.li ■ any money for a Vibrator until you have at least seen and tried the genuine Veedee, Free of Charge, at the Institute. '' If you cannot call, send your name and ' address, and you will receive by return ' our interesting booklet, telling all about ■ the Veedee BUT come to the Institute if you can, for no amount of description can convince you I of the Veedee's Wonderful Curative Powers as well as an actual trial. [ HOURS OF TREATMENT: I WEEK DAYS: 10 to 1, and 2 to 5 p.m. WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHTS, 7 to 9 o'clock.
