The Amsterdam Telegraaf states that 4000 German wounded reached Bruges on Thursday. The allies, from a strongly entrenched position at Arrnentieres, have beaten back all attacks. Yesterday tho Germans crept, up in the darkness towards one of these trenches and opened an enfilading fire. The artillery on both sides then began, and Germans and allies alike were imprisoned in the trench. They were shelled by friend and enemy for It hours. Then the allies retook the trench and captured the Germans. The allies on Wednesday shelled the German trenches in the Arras region, and charged with bayonets. The Germans were driven back six miles. The tight was one of the best in the Arras campaign. The Germans lost 5000.
