GERMAN RETREAT FROM THE VISTULA CONTINUES.

BOMB - DROPPING CAUSES FATALITIES IN WARSAW. AUSTRO-GERMAN FORCES DRIVEN INTO RIVER SAN. (Received October 25, 5.5 p.m.) Petbograd, October 24. It is officially announced that the Germans are retreating continuously from the Vistula River. The Russians captured a large quantity of munitions at Ivangorod. The Austrians are fighting desperately, particularly south of Przemysl. There is no change in East Prussia. On October 19 German airmen dropped 14 bombs in Warsaw, killing nine and wounding 5" persons, including several women and children. Austro-German forces unexpectedly crossed the lower courses of the San a couple of days ago. A Russian bayonet charge drove them into the river, and men, horses and guns, floundering in the water, were swept away. Several detachments of Russians then crossed to the left bank of the San.
