PRICE OF SUGAR RAISED.
As advance in the prices of all grades of raw and refined sugar of 20s per ton has been made by the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, Ltd. On September 12 it ivas announced that the company had made increases amounting to £1 5s per ton on prices then prevailing. The price of No. 1a and No. 1 sugar is now £17 7s 6d per ton: No. 2, £16 17s 6d: and No. 3, £15 7s 6d.
