ALLIES UNSHAKEN.
VIOLENT ATTACKS FAIL.
FIGHTING NEAR FRONTIER.
Wellington, October 23. The Prime Minister has been advised by the High Commissioner as follows :—
The enemy continues to desperately attack the allies' left wing in Belgium and North-west France, especially near Warnetton, Dixmunde, Radinghim, Armentieres, and La Bassee. The allies still hold their positions.
Only isolated attacks were made in other parts, and all were repulsed.
