IRISH STEAMER SUNK.
MINE OR TORPEDO?
NORTH SEA INCIDENT.
London, October 22.
An English steamer saw the steamer Cormorant, 1505 tons, owned in Cork, sunk in the North Sea. It is supposed she struck a mine, but the captain believes that a torpedo boat was noticed leaving the spot, and that it took off the crew of the Cormorant.
