EXTENSIVE DAMAGE BY SHELL-FIRE AT LILLE.
DESTRUCTION OF BUSINESS QUARTER. GERMANS LEAVE AFTER DAY'S REOCOUPATION. (Received October 23, 11.45 p.m.) Paris, October 23. The business quarter of Lille, between the railway station and tho Town Hall was destroyed by shell-fire on October 13. The Germans reoccupied Lille on Tuesday, but commenced withdrawing under General Von Kluck on Wednesday.
