The greatest footwear bargains in the Province of Auckland are to be found at Pearson's Boot Store, Newton. The last of the winter season's entertainments at the Leys Institute will be given next Thursday evening, when a concert, arranged by" Mr. Colin Muston, takes place. A programme of popular music by Auckland's favourite singers and instrumentalists is promised. A vocal and instrumental entertainment was given in the Trades Hall, Hobson Street last evening before a large audience. A musical programme was contributed by Messrs. H. L. Buckler, J. Williams. A. Jones, M. James, D. G. Brett, J. Griffin, A. Austin. Deeming, F. Meyers, W. H. Bright, J. Cowper E. 0. Smith, A. H. Light, and Miss J*. Weston.
