The sharemarket was quiet again yesterday. In standard stocks, South British Insurances were done, at 81s. Auckland Gas (con.) found sale at 14s 3d. Waihi mining .-hares changed hands at 32s 6d and then improved to 33s and 33s 3d. Waihi Grand Junctions were disposed of at 23s 6d.
