The eliminating of the services of the middleman in distribution does not necessarily work a hardship on him, for he can engage in other lines of work and, if he is compelled to, can go out on the farm; there is a place for him and perhaps a better job. Reducing the cost of distribution will not solve all the farmers' problems. Reducing the cost of production is of equal importance, and this can be done only by agricultural education.
