MASONIC CEREMONIES.
VISIT OF PRINCIPALS. During the past week the New Zealand principals of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Scotland have been on a visit to Auckland, and have constituted and dedicated Ponsonby Kilwinning Royal Arch Chapter, S.O. The principal officers carrying out this ceremony and the installation of investiture of officers were: Grand Superintendent, M.E. Companion H. 0. Carter, P.Z., Dunedin; M.C. Companion F. J. Williams, P.Z., P.G.S.E., Dunedm; M.E. Companion W. McCullough, P.Z., Thames; M.E. Companion l'. Ellery, P.Z., Gisborne; M.E. Companion, C. Keast, P.Z., Dunedin; M.E. Companion R. Oxeham, and ME. Companion L. Humphries, of Gisborne.
Subsequent to the ceremony there was a gathering'at which the officers of the Provincial Grand Chapter made presentations to Ex-Companion S. Holden Howie and Companion W. F. G. Scott." The presentations were made by M.E. Companion H. 0. Carter, P.Z., who, in a nappy speech, thanked the Auckland brethren for the manner in which they had'oeen received and for the pleasant time spent in Auckland.
