Dr. Waltee Fox, of Christchurch, an* Mr. Percy Adams, of Nelson, are atavinn at the Grand Hotel. * h Mr. F. H. Wood, chairman of tho i,psom Road Board, left by last evening's express tram for Wellington and Napier. Air. Wood expects to be away for two or three weeks, Mr. J. H. Gunson, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, who has been on a short visit to Wellington, left there on his return to Auckland by last evening's express. General Sir Alexander Godley will arrive in Auckland this morning, and will inspect the members of the expeditionary force to-day and to-morrow. He wi?! return to the South by the noon express to-morrow. Dr. W. S. Robertson, late house surgeon at the Rotorua Sanatorium, has left the tourist resort in order to take up private practice in Hastings. On the evo of his departure he was presented with an address, signed by all the patients in the institution, expressing gratitude for his kindness and courtesy, and hearty good wishes for his future."
