PARTY AMENITIES.
"DON'T BE A BABY."
[BY TELEGRAPH CORRESPONDENT.]
Wellington, Wednesday. Politics are now rapidly assuming their norm."! course, and the usual incidents of party strife are in evidence again. To-day the Leader of tin* Opposition took exception to an interjection made by a member of the Government. "It is time, Mr. Speaker," he snapped out, " that Ministers were taught manners, and that more courtesy should bo shown to this side of tho House." Ho went on to complain of '' politically-impertinent interjections." Unfortunately, he added, such interjections frequently came from Ministers, and he asked Mr. Speaker to " teach these Ministers a salutary lesson." Ho had, he declared, said nothing to call for angry and rude interruptions from Ministers, and he hoped the Prime Minister would give some of his col-
leagues a lesson. " Don't' be a spoilt baby," rapped out a Government member, and his remark did not tend to throw oil on the troubled waters, / *
